Winner of a 2009 UNSW Vice-Chancellor's Teaching Award
The annual awards recognise sustained excellence in teaching. Richard was one of 8 UNSW staff members who received this award.
Richard has also been awarded the Hienz Harant Award for Teaching Innovation recognising a single staff member whose innovation has fundamentally challenged orthodoxy.
