Safe working procedures (SWP) describe how a particular task should be safely undertaken.
SWPs have been developed for a number of different tasks performed in the Level 3 Labs. It is important that employees and students working in this area follow the SWPs, which are located next to the relevant equipment.
The completed SWPs can also be found below. Note that these are reviewed on an annual basis. This list will continually be updated as new activities are undertaken, or existing processes/activities are amended, that require a SWP.
The University's Safe Working Procedures Form should be used when completing a Safe Work Procedure.
ALL completed safe work procedures must be authorised by the area supervisor and the Head of School and returned to Yvonne Balakian.
